Hi, I'm Pitam Poudel.

I was born on June 28, 2001, in the peaceful village of Saipu, Ramechhap, Nepal. My journey to becoming a software engineer is one of resilience, curiosity, and a passion for technology.

After completing my school education in 2016, I was unsure about my future. I decided to follow my father's advice and studied science, but it didn't feel like the right fit for me. Despite studying hard, I realized it wasn't my true calling and did not pass the exams. At the time, I had no experience with computers or software engineering. My father's plan was for me to become an engineer, though he had no idea about software engineering as a field. It was only when my father received a laptop as a gift, and I was in class 11, that was the first time I had ever touch a computer..

I didn't initially aim to become a software engineer. I came across a YouTuber who suggested creating Android apps using no-code tools and earning money by placing ads. This sparked my interest in technology, and I began learning Android development through online platforms like YouTube. Despite limited resources and no prior knowledge, I taught myself to code. I spent countless hours teaching myself, and this self-study paid off, providing me with a solid foundation in Android development.

In February 2021, I began an internship at Dynamic Technosoft Private Limited in Kathmandu. My dedication and passion for technology quickly earned me a spot on the team, where I gained hands-on experience and refined my skills.

Despite my professional success, I felt the need to continue my academic journey. I enrolled in the +2 level education program in March 2021 at the school where I completed my school education, balancing work and studies. I prepared independently for exams and successfully completed my +2 level education.

As my skills grew, I was promoted to Senior Android Developer at Dynamic Technosoft. I worked on several key projects, including a school management system used by over 500 schools in Nepal and India. I also expanded my professional experience by taking on foreign projects through platforms like Upwork.

In December 2022, I joined the Bachelor of Computer Application program offered by Tribhuvan University. Despite possessing the necessary skills, I recognized the value of formal certification in advancing my career.

Today, I stand as an accomplished Senior Software Engineer. My journey has been shaped by an unwavering commitment to self-improvement and a passion for technology. My story demonstrates the importance of adaptability, resilience, and the pursuit of one's passions. I am a self-driven learner who embraces challenges, continuously grows, and achieves success in the ever-evolving world of technology.

Currently, I am the co-founder of a startup where I handle everything related to technology. I work primarily with Kotlin, Ktor, MongoDB, and Kotlin Multiplatform, always exploring new ways to solve problems and create impactful software. My goal is to make a meaningful contribution to Nepal by helping to digitalize my country and improve people's lives through technology.

In my free time, I enjoy playing multiplayer game with friends. I believe in staying adaptable, continuously learning, and pursuing my passions in the ever-changing world of technology.
